Kindra Murphy
Over the last few years it has been an inspiration to follow Kindra's blogs and collections online. Having been lucky enough to spend a semester in Kindras GD1 class at MCAD, her enthusiasm for her subject is infectious and can definitley say has largely affected my approach to working in design. Quirky, goofy, colourful, inventive, explorative, and playful are just a few words of many that can be used to describe the themes in her documented influences and their significance in the personality of her work.
Process and play being an integral part of Kindra's approach which is also well archived alongside her collections of matchboxes, stickers, sweet wrappers, postcards and Estonian knitting patterns. Recognised by many that have worked with, and taught by, as a true inspiration.
