SPR/PPL (SuperPeople) is a collaborative partnership between native Australians, Andy Irwin and Luke Byrne; working in photography, film and art direction they make uber-cool images for the music & fashion industries.

Their more personal work I've featured below seems to be highly influenced by (their own?) teenage years - carefree images that depict a sense of youthful experimentation and a couldn't-give-a-f**k attitude. These are photos for the Vice Magazine generation.

Using a mix of film and digital processes, their approach is haphazardly characterised by its strong stylistic element - whether this is creating a 'vintage' feel by the use of filters, or a more polished edge in their editorial shoots. SPR/PPL also produce some seriously slick cover art for various Australian bands, such as Wolf and Cub.
